Abstract

We describe an experience in developing macros for both Power Point and Impress, to be used in accessibility validation for educational multimedia (Talking Books) designed for visually impaired people. Minor disadvantages in the use of Impress are outlined, which however do not constitute a serious obstacle to adoption of Open Source tools for our purposes.
